Hello, To have .opam in another place than ~/.opam you can do: $ export OPAMROOT=/some/path/.opam/ $ opam init Then you can install new compilers versions and packages in the new location as usual. Right now it has put everything in my home directory in .opam, but I am trying to configure this machine for multiple users and would like to put things in a central place like /usr/local. Is there a way to tell opam to do that, or should I just create symlinks or something like that? > Thanks, > Steve > > On Aug 22, 2014, at 3:22 AM, David MENTRE <dmentre at linux-france.org> wrote: > >> Hello, >> >> Le 21/08/2014 23:18, Stephen Siegel a ?crit : >>> But things go wrong when installing why.
